City Planner. presented an application for a special <br />use permit 0 move a single family house onto a residential lot in <br />New Brighto The applicant is Tony Mazzenga. <br /> <br />Two years ago the Council approve a lot width variance to allow for <br />deve 1 opment of the subj ect 50 foot wi de lot. The lot is located <br />immediately east of 2977 County Road H. The home would be placed <br />on a new fo ndation and would be updated to comply with the Uniform <br />Building Co e. The exterior of the house would be resided and a new <br />attachedga age would be constructed to give the appearance of a new <br />home. <br /> <br />Staff is re ommending approval upon condition of the special use <br />standards a d also of the driveway turnaround being reconstructed. <br />The drivewa turnaround would prevent cars from being backed out <br />onto County Road H. <br /> <br />The Pl anni g Commi ssi on also recommends approval upon the <br />conditions. <br /> <br />The propose moving of the home has been reviewed by Mattila and Ken <br />Nelson, Bui ding Official. The applicant has provided the staff <br />with gradin and drainage plans. <br /> <br />Brandt aske the purpose of the Special Use Permit. <br /> <br />Mattila exp ained the Special Use Permit is required by ordinance <br />and it gi ve the Counci 1 control over the appearance and 1 ocati on <br />of a propos d structure. <br /> <br />The applica t attended the meeting. but did not have any further <br />comments. <br /> <br />Motion by W"lliams. seconded by Larson. to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE R SOLUTION APPROVING SP-156, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 ayes.
