Benke New Phone Numb <br /> <br />Brandt has been contacted by a resident who is concerned about the Flag Light at city H <br />Ci ty' s tre tment of the fl ag at Ci ty Hall. The concern centers <br />around the improper lighting and lack of procedures for handling the <br />flag. Br ndt feels this is an important issue and suggests <br />instructin the city staff on the proper flag handling procedures. <br /> <br />Sinda cla Hied, for the past three months, the flag has been <br />di sp 1 ayed without the proper 1 i ghti ng. The Ci ty staff has been <br />taking th flag down at night; but recently the Tri-City American <br />Legion donated $748 for the purchase of a flag light. A new flag <br />light had een installed, but there were operating problems. Proper <br />has been orking with the electrician to correct this problem. <br /> <br />Benke ask d Sinda, if a staff person can be assigned to handle the <br />flag unti the light is corrected. <br />
