The proposed site location is on Foss Road, <br />generally n rth of Highcrest Road. <br /> <br />The applica t would require a variance for the encroachment of a <br />parking gar ge and stalls for a 30 feet setback along the railroad <br />tracks. A so, the applicant is requesting a vacation of the <br />Westerly 30 feet of Highcrest Road to accommodate the proposed <br />seven-plex. <br /> <br />Benke asked what comments did the Planning Commission have regarding <br />this propos 1. Mattila said a public hearing was held on October <br />18, 1988, a d the Commission recommended approval of this proposal. <br /> <br />There was s me discussion on the propdsed route to be taken in the <br />moving of t is building. <br /> <br />Motion by B nke, seconded by Larson, to WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT <br />THE RESOLU IONS APPROVING SP-153, VN-268 AND HIGHCREST ROAD <br />VACATION; ND APPROVAL OF LP-234, SUBJECT TO EH FOLLOWING <br />CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. PPROVAL OF GRADING AND DRAINAGE PLANS BY CITY ENGINEER. <br />2. ROVISION OF A PERFORMANCE BOND EQUAL TO 100% OF THE COST <br />F INSTALLING ALL SITE IMPROVEMENTS EXCLUDING THE <br />UILDING. <br />3. PPROVAL OF SP-153, VN-268, AND HIGHCREST ROAD VACATION. <br />4. ROVISION OF A 10 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG THE <br />OUTH PROPERTY LINE. <br />5. ROPOSED PARKING STALL AND AISLE DIMENSIONS TO COMPLY <br />ITH THE STANDARDS OF THE PARKING ORDINANCE IN EFFECT AT <br />HE TIME OF PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 ayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Mattila pr sented an application for a Special Use Permit to <br />construct a exterior volleyball court at the municipal liquor store <br />(Powerhouse Bar). <br /> <br />The propos d outdoor vo 11 eyba 11 court woul d be encompassed by a <br />net/fence tructure.
