SP - 52 - 4 - <br />P. 4 <br />HISTORY OF COUNCIL ACTION ON REQUEST <br />Public Hearings <br />Attorney stated hearings remain properly called. Motion by Anderson, <br />seconded by Eagon to receive letter from Hiner Properties dated <br />December 14, 1973. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Mr. Gary Hiner representing Hiner Properties stated that the project <br />was temporarily facing financial problems and that he desired the <br />council to defer action on the special use permit. <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Rebelein to continue hearing on SP-52 <br />to January 22, 8:05. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION February 26, 1974 <br />We have been informed orally by Mr. Hiner that financing for the <br />proposed motel is under consideration by a lending institution and that <br />he should have an answer by the time of the council meeting as to <br />whether financing will be available. It is our understanding that if <br />financing is not available from this lender the project will have to <br />be tabled for at least six months. Mr. Hiner will be present at the <br />meeting to discuss the status of the proposal. <br />We would also like to note that the landscape and plot plan for the <br />motel has not yet been reviewed by the Planning commission and so a <br />building permit is not being requested at this time.
