<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 27, 1988 <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director, presented the Publ ic <br />Hearing to Consider Expansion of the City's Development District and <br />Creation of a new Tax Increment District, T.I.F. District No. 16. <br /> <br />The Proposed T.I.F. District No. 16 will encompass six parcels <br />located at the North end of the Ci ty along 01 d Hi ghway 8. The <br />Proposed T.I.F. District includes the Robinson Coach property and <br />the four parcels just North of Mounds Avenue where Welsh Companies <br />has proposed to build a 26,000 sq. ft. office/showroom project. <br />Mi dwest Bolt Company has proposed a 10,000 sq. ft. i ndustri a 1 <br />building on the South parcel of the Robinson Coach Property and a <br />third unknown project will occupy the North parcel of this property. <br /> <br />Being no comments from the audience, motion by Williams, seconded <br />by Larson to CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Moti on by Gunderman, seconded by Larson to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION APPROVING DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AND TAX <br />INCREMENT FINANCING AMENDMENTS. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Kevin Locke requested a continuation of the Public Hearing for the <br />Vacation of the Drainage Easement for John Christenson, 1571--27th <br />Avenue N.W. The continuation was requested because the City Staff <br />is waiting for additional information from Mr. Christenson. <br /> <br />Moti on by Benke, seconded by Wi 11 i ams, to CONTINUE THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR THE VACATION OF THE DRAINAGE EASEMENT FOR JOHN <br />CHRISTENSON, 1571--27TH AVENUE NW, AND MOVE TO THE OCTOBER 25, 1988, <br />COUNCIL MEETING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Erny Mattila, City Planner, presented the public hearing to consider <br />a request to resubdivide two single family residential lots. <br /> <br />The lots are located at 2370 Hamilton Court, Lot 1 and Lot 2, Block <br />1, Hamilton Greens NO.2 and are owned by Gene Iverson.
