".,.,-",,-, <br />Pursuant to due call and published notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the New Brighton Village Council was held at 8 p.m., December 12, <br />1972 in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 803 5th Avenue N.W. <br />New Brighton, Minnesota <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Preserit~ <br /> <br />Mayor Gayle C. Bromander, Councilmen Diana Eagon, Gene Fisher, <br />D. L. Moen, Paul Rebeleln. Absent~ ,None <br /> <br />Also <br />Present~ <br /> <br />Thomas F. Lewcock, Village Manager; Ferry Copeland, Village <br />Attorney; Vernon C. Pederson, Clerk-Treasurer; Quentin K. Wood, <br />Director of Public Works <br /> <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Rebelein to approve <br />minutes of November 28, 1972 with the following <br />correction for Atlas Disposal Offensive Trade <br />License - that approval to Atlas Disposal be subject <br />to previous conditions specified in Council meeting <br />of January 12, 1971, and also that no parking of <br />vehicles in driveways, and approval of minutes of <br />special meeting of November 30, 1972. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br />Approval of <br />Minutes - <br />Nov, 28 and 30, <br />1972 <br /> <br />Unfinished Business <br />The Director of Parks and Recreation reported <br />to the Council in regard to skating facilities <br />at Hansen Park. <br /> <br />Report - <br />Skating facilities <br /> <br />Public Hearinqs <br />Attorney stated hearing was properly called <br />Mr. Charles Nolan spoke in regard to variance <br />request. <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Moen to close <br />hearing <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br />Variance Request <br />~ <br />Nolan Brothers <br /> <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Moen to grant variance <br />VN-95 as requested with the stipulation that the <br />council may at some future date order all or a part <br />of the green area included in variance to be converted <br />to parking and to grant a variance to the literal <br />provisions of Section 10-110 (h) of the Village Code <br />subject to the fOllowing conditions: <br />(1) that the entire parcel be shaped and seeded <br />(2) that all landscaping and seeding shall be completed <br />prior to the issuance of the certificate of occupancy <br />(3) that if and when that portion of the property north <br />of the proposed buildings is developed that the variance to <br />Section 10-110 of the Village Code shall cease <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes -carried <br />
