He added that the amusement center <br />would be well managed. <br />Councilman Fisher questioned whether sufficient parking <br />was available for the proposed use. <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to close <br />hearing . <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes- carried <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Werdouschegg to <br />direct administration to prepare a resolution <br />denying SP-70 including the following findings: <br />1. Parking requirements are not met; <br />2. The center would be too closely located <br />to the liquor store; <br />There is potential for unsightly debris; <br />It may create a nuisance by way of noise; <br />It would be a place oi potential mischief; <br />Area residents had expressed opposition. <br />ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br /> <br /> <br />stated hearing remained properly called <br />planner reviewed his report and the <br />Planning Commission recommendations. <br />Mr. Charles Nolan, applic2nt, was present to <br />respond to Council questions. <br />Councilman Werdouschegg stated that the two <br />portions of the contour map did not have grade lines <br />which met 0 <br /> <br />Mr. Nolan stated that the final contours are anticipated <br />to be basically the same as existing contours. It <br />was noted by the staff that surveys were taken at <br />different times .but that the drainage indicated on <br />the contour map was essentially the same as <br />currently existso <br /> <br />Mrs. Bourquim, 506 2nd Avenue N.W. stated no objections <br />to the proposal but stated concern that hauling of <br />materials could create a dust problem andth~t loads <br />should be watered down. <br />Mr. Nolan stated that there may be some problem with <br />incoming fill in this regard. <br /> <br />, Mrs. Howard Thompson, 5182nd Avenue NVl., questioned what <br />route would be taken by hauling vehicles. <br />Mr. Nolan responded that they would come along the west <br />property line of the Shall station, onto County Road E2 <br />and then on ,to 35W. <br />
