I

I

I

Council Meeting Minutes
June 14, 1988

City Engineer Les Proper briefly reviewed the background on the
water situation since the Memorial Day weekend, noting that we do
not want to go below the million gallon storage point because of
the essential fire flow requirement. Since the ban and restric-
tions on watering were put in place on May 31, 1988, the City has
been able to maintain the minimum storage requirement. He further
advised that although it was hoped once the G.A.C. was installed
and operating the City could lift the ban, this will not be pos-
sible for now inasmuch as the gallons being pumped now simply rep-
lace that which we were receiving from another community.

Motion by Larson, seconded by Williams to ADOPT A RESOLUTION REST-
RICTING LAWN SPRINKLING TO AN ODD-EVEN SYSTEM AND PROHIBITING ANY
WATERING BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:00 P.M.
