<

SP-69, Clark Pharmacy:

The Planner reviewed his comments noting the existing signs,
the applicable regulations, and the particular type of sign peing
requested.

Mr. Clark, the applicant, stated that it is his desire to leave the
existing sign as is until the HRA acts on a renewal area or until an
overall plan is developed for the area which would incorporate his
sign.

Fredrickson stated that she felt there was a proliferation of
signs on the property.

Mr. Clark did not agree that there were too many signs and felt
that the affect of his neighbors to the south should be taken
into account. He felt that all the signs were needed since the
trucks parked to the south block the view of his signs. Additionally,
Mr. Clark noted that his old sign was illegal and he felt he was
upgrading the area with the new sign.
