Enclosed Plans <br /> <br />Code Requirements: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />A bowling alley is not listed as a permitted use in the I-I <br />district under Section 9-020 and the applicant's facility is a Type II <br />Non-Conformity. Bowling alleys are. however, a use permitted by <br />special use permit in the B-3 District and Section 11-230 Uses by <br />Special Permit in Industrial Districts indicates that: <br /> <br />"a. The Village Council may permit any use in industrial <br />districts (except residential use)." <br /> <br />Section 11-020 Special Uses. Special uses as shown in specified <br />districts of this ordinance may be permitted in those districts <br />by the Village Council where such uses are deemed essential or <br />desirable to the public convenience, welfare, and are in harmony <br />with the various elements or objectives of the master plan. and <br />if their location, plan and character of the development are <br />first considered by the Planning Commission following the <br />procedure set forth in this ordinance. In the exercise of its <br />approval, the Council may impose such conditions regarding the <br />location, character and other features of the proposed building, <br />structure or use as it may deem advisable in the furtherance of <br />the purposes of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3-40. Requlations as to Type II Non-Conformities. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />"a. No such structure shall be expanded, enlarged, replaced <br />or located except in changing the use to a permitted use." <br />
