ENVI RONMENTAL STUD IES PROJECT: Preparation of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet for Prudential Insurance Company's Pro~osed NCHO Satellite Office in Plymouth, Minnesota ' CLIENT: The Architectural Alliance The project proposed the constrnction of a $17,000,000, 475,000 square foot office facility in the Minneapolis suburb of Plymouth, 'Minnesota. BRW prepared this Environmental Assessment Worksheet (E.A.W.) which required in-depth ~nalysisof air quality, noise, transportation, land use, hydrology, and historical and , archeological resources. Also of concern in this project was its potential for initiating premature development on the fringe of the Minneapolis-St. Paul urban service area as defined by the Metropolitan Council. The E.A.W. was completed within a very short time schedule and concluded that a full environmental impact statement was not required. ., PRO J E CT : CLIENT: '-Preparation of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet for West Publishing Company's Proposed Warehouse and Manufacturing Facility 'Rauenhorst Corporation The-project proposed the construction of an $11,400,000 warehouse and manufacturing facility in two places. The facility was to be located i~ Eagan, Minnesota and would function as a primary printing, binding and warehousing facility for West Publishing, one of the nation's leading publishers of law books. This 'Environmental Assessment Worksheet (E.A.W.) was Dne of the first filed in the State using the new worksheet form. The E.A.W. addressed the potential impact on several environmental factors, including: air quality, traffic, water quality, noise, land use, socia-economic factors, and community services. The major concern of this project was the proposed moving of a job center from downtown St. Paul to a suburban .location.
