<br />PROJECT: <br />CLIENT: <br /> <br />Louisiana Avenue Negative Declaration <br /> <br />City of St. Louis Park <br /> <br />Acting on behalf of the City of ' St. Louis Park, BRW prepared a <br />Negative Declaration for the Louisiana Avenue connection, a <br />Federal Aid-Urban project. The report followed the outline for <br />Federal EIS preparation and concentrated on the following <br />subjects: impact and reduction of vehicular noise, air quality <br />analysis for indirect sources, surface runoff quality and <br />impact on aquatic habitat. The Negative Declaration was <br />submitted to and approved by the Feperal Highway Administration. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />PROJECT: <br /> <br />Louis Dreyfus Grain Transfer Facility <br />Environmental Assessment <br /> <br />CLI ENT : <br /> <br />Ryan Construction Company <br /> <br />Selected by Ryan Construction Company, BRW prepared an , <br />Environmental Assessment for a proposed Grain Transfer Facility <br />on the Minn~sota River in Burnsville. The purpose of the <br />facility is to transfer grain moved from Southern Minnesota by <br />truck to barges for river transport to the Gulf. The Assessment <br />addressed the potential impact of the grain facility on several <br />environmental factors: erosion potentlal, water quality, <br />'vehicular and river traffic, wildlife habitat, and rec'reation. <br />The Environmental Assessment was submitted to the Minnesota <br />Environmental Quality Council, and was found to be an adequate <br />docume~t, fulfilling State of Minnesota requirements. <br /> <br />BRW,has also prepared permit applications for several State and <br />Federal agencies. These include: Chapter 105 permit for Work <br />in Public Waters (Minnesota Department of Natural Resources)~ <br />Section 401 Certification (Minnesota Pollutibn Cbntrol Agency), <br />and a Department of the Army Permit (Army Corps.of Engineers). <br />
