Among his responsibilities are project management, <br />field research, technical writing and editing for projects <br />including: a shopping center development in Duluth, the Downtown <br />People Mover in St. Paul) subdivision plans in Plymouth, and <br />impact assessment of national wildlife refuges in Sherburne <br />County) Minnesota and southeastern Indiana. <br /> <br />Prior to joining BRW Manuel worked with Cortell Associates in <br />Boston on a number of environmental impact assessments and <br />statements) land management plans for the corporate headquarters <br />site of AT&T long lines in New Jersey; site planning studies for <br />IBM and various developers in the New York area; and an instream <br />flow study for the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation. <br /> <br />Mr. Stefanakis has also contributed to a number of urban design <br />studies while employed by David A. Crane and Partners of <br />Philadelphia. These included the design of urban parks and an <br />open space study for center city Philadelphia, a pedestrian mall <br />in downtown Wilmington, Delaware" a site analysis for a pun in <br />eolumbus, Indiana, and the construction documentation for a <br />.greenway system at Radisson New Community, New York. <br /> <br />In addition, he has consulted on other studies including a <br />county park master plan in New York State and the development of <br />an environmental assessment questionnaire for a suburban <br />Philadelphia community used to determine the effects of PUD's. <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS <br /> <br />Member, American Society of Landscape Architects <br />Registered Landscape Architect, Commonwealth of Massachusetts <br />
