Such <br />approval may be granted only after public hearing and <br />shall require a 4/5 vote of the entire City Council. <br />The procedure (not conditions) shall be the same as <br />that for a variance. <br /> <br />The application fee shall be fifty (50) dollars. Such <br />Sign plan shall show existing and proposed signs and/or <br />billboards and shall have a schedule listing the dates <br />by which each non-conformity will be eliminated. Such <br />plan must show the elimination of all signing non- <br />conformities within five (5) years of sign plan approval, <br />and must show the elimination of a minimum of fifteen <br />(15) per cent of the signing and/or billboard non- <br />conformities each year. The City Council may place <br />conditions on the sign plan deemed necessary to meet <br />the intent of this section. <br /> <br />As noted in our earlier conversation, the following sign non- <br />conformities exist at this location: <br /> <br />, 'c. <br /> <br />1. The pylon sign (Big B's) does not identify the building <br />only. <br /> <br />2. "Tom Thumb" has 2 wall signs compared to the ordinance <br />guideline of 1 wall sign per activity. <br /> <br />3. The "Tom Thumb" logo extends beyond the peak of the <br />roof. <br /> <br />4. "Big B's Pizza" has 2 wall signs. <br /> <br />5. The Dentist sign is a projecting sign (projects more <br />than 18 inches). <br /> <br />6. The wall signs for the various activities are not all <br />in one selected signable area. <br /> <br />As it is necessary that we resolve this problem regarding signing <br />I would appreciate a reply indicating how you would propose to <br />proceed. <br />
