A time period of one year seetllS <br />adequ'ate. In order to insure the City that the model will be <br />remov~d, approval of the model unit should be on condition that <br />if the model is not removed after the one year period it will <br />become the property of the Ci ty to di spose of as it sees fi t <br />or the City should require that the applicant post a bond. <br /> <br />At the time when the Planning Commission reviewed the request the <br />applicant was uncertain as to whether or not the water and sewer <br />services could be provided to this site this fall. Since that <br />time the applicant had indicated to staff that the utilities will <br />be installed this fall so that the unit will hav~ the necessary <br />services. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION CONSIDERATION AND RECOMMENDATION <br />EXTRACT FROM MINUTES <br />BOARD OF REVIEW <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 18, 1979 <br /> <br />Gene Tierney, representing RCE Corporation was present to answer <br />any questions. <br /> <br />Chairman Schmidt questioned the necessity of a,model unit on that <br />site. . <br /> <br />Commissioner Lang voiced a concern on whether or not the necessary <br />public utilities could be secured yet this fall. <br /> <br />Mr. Tierney was unsure of the scheduling of utilities but indicated <br />that it is the intention of the firm to have the necessary utilities <br />for the site. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, second by Sande to adopt a resolution recommending <br />approval of SP-88 and to amend the resolution to include a number <br />6 under Findings of Fact to read "that since the building is for <br />public use the appropriate utilitiessh6uld be provided" and that a <br />#3 be added under BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to read: "that the applicant <br />investigate and make the necessary agreements to secure the <br />utilities." <br /> <br />Motion by Lang; second by Baker to amend the motion to add a #4 under <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to read: 4. That the model onit not house <br />sales personnel until the site is serviced with the necessary utilities. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, amendment ca rri ed. <br />
