New Brighton, MN 55112-2598 · (6121633-4311 <br /> <br />May 20, 1985 <br /> <br />Ms. Brenda Krueger <br />City P1 anner <br />City of New Brighton <br />803 5th Ave. NW <br />New Brighton, MN 55112 <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Krueger: <br /> <br />United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities respectfully requests the <br />concurrence of the City of New Brighton with our proposal to continue the <br />use of four student apartments for facu1 ty offi ces. <br /> <br />The four apartments involved are on the upper floor, south end (see floor <br />plan attached) of the apartment building Just North of the present educa- <br />tional building on campus (see Campus Plan attached). These apartments <br />will house 7 faculty and a faculty lounge. <br /> <br />The Board of Trustees of United Seminary has taken steps toward a Capital <br />Fund Drive to begin this fall which includes provision for office expansion. <br />This Drive is planned to be of up to a 5 year duration and at such time as <br />funds become available for building expansion, these temporary offices will <br />be returned to their oirgina1 use as student accommodation. <br /> <br />Approval for the temporary <br />was granted by the City on <br />special permit in 5 years. <br />this time. <br /> <br />redesignation of the use of these apartments <br />June 12, 1980 and required reviewal of this <br />Therefore, we are requesting that renewal at <br /> <br />If there is other documentation required in order for the City to act upon <br />our request, please advise me. <br /> <br />7~~~ <br /> <br />Howard M.
