I I I I I I I ;1 ,I I WHEREAS, An application for a special use permit entitled SP-92 has been made by United Theological Seminary to permit the temporary use of four (4) dormitory units as faculty and administrative offices; and WHEREAS, The procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That an application for special use permit, SP-92 was filed with the City of New Brighton on June 5, 1980. 2. That such application was reviewed by the New Brighton Planning Commission Board of Review on June 17, 1980. 3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and m~iled notices, held a public hearing on July 22, 1980, all person's present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. 4. The written comments and analysis of the City staff, the Planning Commission minutes and recommendations were considered. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to SP-92: 1. That the property is zoned R-l, Single Family Residential and was developed under a special use permit, SP-58; 2. That proposed temporary use modification will not create parking problems and will not detract from the residential use of the remairider of tha.~ormitory units 3. That the units to be used for office are of ~ distance. from abutting single family dwellings and will not adversely affect the established single family character~of the area; 4. That the temporary modification of use does not substantially change the master plan and intention of special use permit, SP-58. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the application for special use permit, SP-92 is and hereby approved subject to Council review five years after the approval. I I I I I I I :, I' :1 I' 'I I , 1980.
