The antenna tower permit was issued on January 6,
1969;
2. The plans and specifications for that tower were
reviewed and approved prior to the issuance of
that permit; and
3. It is impossible
or not the tower
e xis ti n g code s .

to determine at this time whether
was constructed under the then
It is my belief that it was.

You state in your letter that the structure in question was built
in the early summer of 1981. Our records indicate that it was
built in 1969. We do have invoices to ~cLean Trucking from
Motorola Communications & Electronics Inc. dated in February 1969.
If you h~ve someinfor~ation that would substantiate your claim
that t~e tower was built in 1~8l, I would appreciate a copy of
said information so that I may investigate this matter further.

In regard to your second question concerning the HBO antenna's
that have been installed within the City of New Brighton, the
ordinance allows the antenna to extend 20 feet above the last
attachment on the house. If the antenna's are less than 20 feet
above the attachment on the house we do not regulate them. If
you have a regard concerning a particular antenna I would be more
than happy to investigate its height and determine if a permit is
required and take whatever action is deemed appropriate.

Sincerely,

~~ff~

Ronald L.
