- ~4l-1 ~14:f-,c c tz2--
?UUJ_/fr.{~" f

660-23rd. Ave. NW
New Brighton, Mn. 55112

June 21, 1982

Dear Sir:

Regarding your recent 'approval' of the antenna tower on
McLean Trucking Company roof. I would like very much your
written rational how in my case you can be so 'nit picky'
and in another so very lenient.

The tower on the McLean roof does not even meet the primary
criteria of the UBC. Specifically-section 3602 which in part
requires all roof mounted towers over 25 feet in height to
have direct non-combustible support to the ground. Also,
within the fall radius of the tower is the main electrical
feed line for the whole area.

I also question the application of a building permit issued in
1969 to a structure built in the early summer of 1981? Even
under the old ordnance, building was to start within 180 days
of issuance.

Also~ since my return from Japan I have noticed numbers of
111egal' HBO antennas going up in New Brighton. Most all are
flimsey structures, roof mounted and well over the height
maximum allowed in our new antenna ordnance. What are you
doing to rectify this situation?

In closing I repeat that I am being singled out and being
discriminated against through the city action against me as
regards to no similar action being taken against the many
lviolatorsl-elsewhere in the City.

Tom Boudreau

cc: City Council Members
