<br />.,. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO <br />NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT, SP-102 <br /> <br /> <br />HHEREAS,an application for a special use permit, <br />been made by B & DWarehouse to establish a sign plan <br />site at 200 Old Highway #8; and <br /> <br />HH E REAS, the proceduralh is toryoftheapplita t ioois <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That an application for a special use permit was filed <br />with the-City on December 28, 1981 . <br />2. That the.PlanningCommission,pursuant to published and <br />mal led notices, he 1 da pub 1 i c hearing on January 1 9, 1 982, <br />all person's pr.esentat the hearing were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORLBf II RESOLVED by the Planning C.ommissi.on that <br />the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to SP-102: <br /> <br />1. That the property is zoned 1-2, Heavy Industrial and that <br />one ground sign, 64 square feet in area and 20 feet in <br />height is allowed; <br />2. That the prop.osed sign is within the area and height <br />requirements; <br />3. That the proposed sign meets the intention of the sign.,' <br />code in t h a t-- i t provides sou n d"i den tifi cat io n,r e d u c-es---- <br />clutter and is aesthetically pleasing. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the application SP-I02 is and <br />hereby recommended-for approva l-subj ectto the fo 11 owi n9 <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the ground sign have an area .of 60 square feet, <br />height of 14 feet, contain name of building and 10 <br />removal plates to identify name of tenants only; <br />2. That the ground sign be d.ouble-faced and setback at <br />least 13 feet, 4 inches from the property line; <br />3. That there be no wall signs allowed on the building; <br />4. That names .of tenants with no greater than 3 inch <br />lettering can be placed on appropriate entrances. <br /> <br />Adopted this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />, 1982. <br /> <br />~ <br />Roger'S.
