Letter form Eric Aaron regarding security guard
dated November 8, 1982.

Jerald Fine, attorney representing the applicant, was present
to answer questions.

Dale Ekegren, Pizza Factory owner stated that he felt the
proposal looked sound and that he welcomed the Amusement
Center to the shopping center.

Commissioner Weaver asked the owner of the Pizza Factory if
he has noticed problems with teens loitering.

Mr. Ekegren stated that only 4 or 5 times after home football
games would there be a lot of teens in the area.

Phyllis A. Ked1, part owner of the Wardrobe in the Rice Creek
Center, stated the Planning Commission had received her letter
and that she wanted to reiterate that she didn't feel this use
was compatible in the shopping center. She commented that the
mall area was small and that the teens would congregate in one
spot. This mall is not comparable to other malls in other
shopping centers because of its size and tenants. She stated
that the hiring of a security guard will hopefully help. She
also noted that the signatures on the petition from the center
are primarily from tenants not on the mall.

Motion
~ Ayes
S -

by Williams, second by Baker to close the hearing.
o Naye:s, HatieR Carl ied

;;..
