That the council retains the right to require <br />additional parking on the site if there <br />becomes' a need. <br />2. That Minnesota Federal present the City with. <br />a recordable document agreeing not to sub- <br />divide.the_property. <br />Councilman Eagon stated for the record that the <br />Council's options were to deny or grant-the variance <br />for parking. I£ the variance were denied, Minnesota <br />Federal could proceed with their alternate plan <br />of additional blacktopping. The placement of the <br />building on a differ-ent~location of the site is not <br />an area subject to council discretion. <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes.carried <br />Attorney stated.hearing~was properly called 9:.10 to <br />9:23 <br />Petitioner, Gordon Hedlund, stated that there was a . <br />; <br />Standard Oil. easement on the west 25 ft of the , <br />16 <br />property and agree-to a 30.ft setback. on Lot 5. ~ _1 <br />PL-90 <br />Mr. Robert Burroughs questioned what would be done <br />with the drainage on the rear of the property. <br />Mr. Hedlund-stated that he anticipated nothing <br />would be done to dsturb~present drainage. ~ <br />Mr. Gaylord Marcus asked-what kinds of homes would. <br />be built on the site.
