VN-120 -3- June 11, 1974 <br />` t <br />be done. <br />Harty stated that it was not suggested that the concrete <br />be torn up but only that additional plantings be,added <br />in the green area, <br />?Motion by Harty, seconded by Parham, to defer action on <br />VN-120 until the next meeting in order to be able to <br />review a more detailed Motion carried, 4-0. <br />May 21, 1974 <br />The Chairman read the background discussion. <br />Mr.-William Pickering appeared representing the applicant. <br />He stated that the pump islands would be removed and the <br />Concrete leveled off.- He also stated that he considered <br />the plantings by the road to be an alternative to the <br />planters. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION, (May 21, 1974): <br />Motion-by Harty; seconded by Parham, to recommend <br />approval of VN-120 noting that there is parking in a <br />street sideyard involved but that the street is far away <br />and noting also that such recommended approval is <br />conditioned on completion of the Landscape Plan dated <br />April 23, 1974 with the removal of the three Green Ash <br />and two Flowering Shrubs located in,the right-of-way. <br />Motion carried,-3-0.
