<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 24, 1987 <br /> <br />Brandt suggested the City contact anyone we know who has been in- <br />volved and who might be interested in achieving this designation <br />for the city to see if they would like to come forward and do <br />this. <br /> <br />Benke felt some consolidation or coalition efforts might work very <br />well with existing groups; suggested working with the marketing <br />group to write a letter. <br />In response to Brandt's concern, Locke indicated City Attorney is <br />determining whether or not the City is in compliance with State <br />Statute 462.351-352 regarding review and revision of Capital Im- <br />provement Plan. <br /> <br />Benke stated he has been advised by Representative Dan Knuth that <br />the House Tax Subcommittee will be hosting a public meeting in New <br />Brighton on Wednesday, December 9, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. at which <br />time we will produce a formal statement.
