<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 24, 1987 <br /> <br />Mattila briefly reviewed staff report concerning final plat appro- <br />val to construct six townhouses and a two-family home on a one- <br />acre parcel of land. <br /> <br />Motion by BLomquist, seconded by Brandt, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT A RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF PL-164. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Williams commented this looks like a nice high quality develop- <br />ment. <br /> <br />With regard to the city code changes <br />Chief, Sinda indicated the major change <br />department 20 members, and noted it adds <br />be the training officer and changes the <br />basis. <br /> <br />as suggested by the Fire <br />is to formally give the <br />another captain who will <br />elections to a two-year <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Blomquist, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND HOLD THE FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9, <br />FIRE PROTECTION AND PREVENTION, ARTICLE III, VOLUNTEER FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT, OF THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Sinda indicated staff has put together all suggested changes noted <br />at the council/staff workshop. <br /> <br />Benke asked if staff had an opportunity to speak to those affec- <br />ted; Kelley advised he had spoken to those affected by the liquor- <br />related fees. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />HOLD THE FIRST READING OF: THE PARK LAND DEDICATION ORDINANCES, AN <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5-53, 6-28, 15-42, 15-43, 20-24, 23- <br />50, AND 2930 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE AND ESTABLISHING SEC- <br />TION 29-8 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE; AND AN AMENDMENT TO CHAP- <br />TER 7, ARTICLE II, OF THE CITY CODE ALLOWING BUILDING, PLUMBING, <br />MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES TO BE SET BY RESOLUTION. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />In response to Brandt's comments from the Planning Commission <br />meeting, Sinda indicated staff is looking a boulevard policy at <br />all of Tenth Street and Old Highway 8.
