Motion by BLomquist, seconded by Brandt, to WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF PL-164. 5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried Williams commented this looks like a nice high quality develop- ment. Benke asked if staff had an opportunity to speak to those affec- ted; Kelley advised he had spoken to those affected by the liquor- related fees. Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke, to WAIVE THE READING AND HOLD THE FIRST READING OF: THE PARK LAND DEDICATION ORDINANCES, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5-53, 6-28, 15-42, 15-43, 20-24, 23- 50, AND 2930 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE AND ESTABLISHING SEC- TION 29-8 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE; AND AN AMENDMENT TO CHAP- TER 7, ARTICLE II, OF THE CITY CODE ALLOWING BUILDING, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES TO BE SET BY RESOLUTION. 5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried Announcements and Updates In response to Brandt's comments from the Planning Commission meeting, Sinda indicated staff is looking a boulevard policy at all of Tenth Street and Old Highway 8. Anderson stated the park department is looking at doing something with boulevard plantings on all city property, and Locke indicated all land downtown owned by the city will be spruced up. Brandt reported on the All American City Award conference, indica- ting all materials will have to be submitted by next May if our City wishes to pursue acknowledgement as an All American City; we have a lot to tell the community about; this is an opportunity for our residents to get the kind of recognition for the volunteer work they do in the community.
