What will be done and when to <br />solve the problem of the dust emissions that <br />were occurring? <br />The landscape and plot plan was not referred to the Planning <br />Commission and Council at this time becauseit was incomplete. <br />The topography and drainage were the major items missing. The <br />Planning Commission will review the landscape and plot plan on <br />September 17, 1974 if the required information has been provided. ` <br />Planning Commission Consideration _(8/20/74): <br />The Chairman read the background discussion. <br />Tom Stahl and Chuck Kausel appeared, representing the applicant. <br />Mr: Stahl explained that the plan for the building had been <br />changed to remove.the loading docks facing the freeway and instead <br />install a second door with an expanded dock facing First Street S11, <br />Daniels commented that it was an excellent idea to have the <br />railroad cars load inside the building. <br />Planning Commission Recommendation (8/20/74) <br />Motion by Dlugosch, seconded by Harty, to recommend approval Rif <br />UN-132 with the change of the loading docks from the east side to <br />one dock with an expanded door on the south side. <br />Daniels suggested installing a turnaround of some type west <br />of the center driveway in order that trucks do not have to back frO <br />the street to the dock. <br />With the concurrence of the mover and seconder, the motion was <br />amended to incorporate this additional recommendation. <br />Motion carried-, 5-0
