The plans. presented <br />meet ali code requirements with the exception of the concrete_s.~zrbing <br />and buffer strip which is the subject of the v <br />The landscaping presented has some very positive points in the <br />amount of plant material be-ing proposed and variety and placement <br />of this planting material. There is a good balance between <br />ornamental, shade and screening evergreen type trees which.-should <br />produce a genera lly very pleasing effect. -The principal issue relates <br />~to, however, how well the platttings will screen the site in question. <br />The evergreens when they grow to a full height, should provide <br />a fairly effective screen in the areas where they are located. <br />These evergreens are, however, interspersed with shade trees, <br />ornamental trees which wkll not-have 'leaves during the winter <br />monthsand in addition, once they grow theirbranches will be such: <br />as to leave gaps in the screening in-the area closest to the ground. <br />-This is somewhat necessary in order to allow patrolling police cars <br />to have a view into the lot. However, it certainly does reduce <br />the effectvenes of the screening as far as the adjacent residential". <br />
