Council Proceedings 2 <br />City of New Brighton <br />July 8, 1975 <br />Attorney stated hearing was properly called ~~ N-141 <br />Mrs. Chervany, 1CA Street N.~~7. was present to answer <br />council quest ions 8 s44 to <br />8 X49 <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Eagon to close hearing <br />4 ayes- 0 nayes - carried Close <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Eagon to grant Hearing. <br />variance for a 15 foot front yard setback from <br />16A Street N.G,T. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />1ttorney stated hearing was properly called PRD #20 <br />Mr. T~eith Harstad requested that the western parcel <br />of the PRD be permanently withdrawn from <br />consideration 8:50 to <br />Motion by Eagon, seconded by Rebelein to accept the <br />request of the petitioner to delete the western 1030 <br />parcel from the PRD #20. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Eagon, seconded by Rebelein to receive <br />letter from New Brighton League of women Voters, dated <br />July 1, 1975 regarding PRD #20 <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Anderson to receive <br />petition from residents in area south of County Road E <br />east of Silver Lake Road and west of 13th Avenue S.P. <br />regarding PRD #20 <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Eagon to receive <br />report °`Soil Interpretations for Residential <br />Development`°(Oakwood Estates) from Howard J. Moechnig, <br />Soil Conservationist <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - c arri~d <br />Mr. Harstad noted that the bad soil conditions <br />are in the northern portion of the parcel as <br />confirmed by soil tests which, however, he does not <br />currently have available. He noted that the town <br />houses would probably work better if they were slightly <br />tilted toward the east. He added that he had confirmed <br />the oil pipeline would be located no closer than <br />45 feet from the center of the street on Oakwood Drive; <br />where the pipeline angled he had no confirmation of <br />w idth of easement. <br />
