R. Hackworthy, Con/Spec, the designer of the building, showed
changes made to the exterior of the building, as staff was concern-
ed about additional color on the exterior; added a peak to break up
the appearance of the building; rather than finishing the storage
area, carried the exterior around to appear to be a part of the
building; and noted the newly proposed plan has about 500 addition-
al square feet. Hackworthy also indicated the metal canopy would
duplicate what is occurring on the front of the structure; and that
the bronze color trim has been replaced with red metal.

Williams had a concern about the cold storage, as there was no cer-
tainty the second phase would be built, and was pleased to hear
there would be a wall which will match the building in a more com-
patible manner.

Williams asked if the Planning Commission had seen this layout;
Mattila indicated they had not but he had spoken with the Planning
Commission chairman who had no concerns with the proposed changes.

As there were no further questions or comments, Gunderman moved,
seconded by Brandt, to CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING.

5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried

Page 2

Limited Parking
Irondale High
School
Report 87-231
Resolution 87-99

Signs: Squash
Festival
Report 87-232

Development
Agreement -
Amendment (Svee)
Report 87-233

Pet it ion: Four
Way Stop Sign
Report 87-234

Reapportionment
of Assessments
Report 87-234-A
Resolution 87-100

Public Hearings

LP-2l0/PL-163
Beisswenger
Hardware
Report 87-235
Resolution 87-101
7:33-7:47pm
