<r <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND, APPROVING APPLICATION <br />FOR VN-162 <br />WHEREAS an application for variance entitled VN-162 has <br />been made to the City. and said application has been processed <br />and reviewed by the Planning Commission at its meetings on <br />September 21 and October 19, 1976, and heard and considered <br />by the Council at a public hearing on November 9, 1976. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton City <br />Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to <br />VN-162. <br />Finding's of Fact <br />1. That an application for VN-162 was filed with the City <br />on September 9,1976, and was heard and reviewed by the <br />Planning Commission' at its meetings of September 21 and <br />October 19, 1976; <br />2`. That the City Council, pursuant to published and mailed <br />notices held a public hearing on November 9, 19760 <br />to consider the application. All persons present at <br />then hearing were given an opportunity to be heard; <br />3. The written comments and analysis of the City Planner, <br />The Planning Commission minutes and recommendations, <br />and all persons' statements made at the public hearing <br />were considered including the statements of the <br />applicant and members of the Council. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the application' for VN-162 be <br />hereby approved for signing at 1401 - 1403 1405 Silver Lake <br />Road. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the variance approved is subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. That-three-wall directories are permitted, one for each <br />building entrance, with each tenant permitted a sign of <br />no more than one square foot in area on that directory <br />and displaying only the name of the tenant (Exhibit A) <br />The wall directory at each entrance shall be located only <br />on one side of that entrance within the area delineated on <br />Exhibit A as "Wall Directory Signable Area". <br />2. That the names of each tenant on the existing ground <br />sign be changed so as to be of standard size- as shown <br />on Exhibit B with uniform lettering and coloring. <br />E
