He further noted that the wall signs <br />were placed without permit <br />No one spoke in opposition <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to close hearing Close' <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes--carried Hearing <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to direct <br />administration to prepare a resolution approving the <br />variance based on the ponditions recommended by the <br />Planning Commission,` except that condition 2 of the <br />Planning Commission be changed to read within 5 years. <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Hardt to amend the. <br />resolution by providing that no window signs be permitted Adm. <br />4 ayes-1 nave (5enden) - carried - Prepare <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Werdouschegg to amend the Resolution <br />resolution by providing that drawings showing the sign plans <br />be incorporated in the resolution <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br />Vote on motion as amended 5 ayes- 0 nayes-.carried <br />The City Clerk stated that he had reviewed the hearing <br />notice with the City Attorney and found that the NC-14 <br />hearing was 'properly called. The Building and Planning Gordon <br />Coordinator reviewed the planning report and Planning Rendering <br />Commission considerations. 10:03 to <br /> 10:11 <br />Councilman Werdouschegg asked whether the fence <br />screened the loading docks. The Building and Planning <br />Coordinator stated that they were almost totally screened <br />because of the fence. <br />Jerry 'Letters, manager of Gordon Rendering,. was present <br />to respond to Council questions. <br />No one spoke in opposition. Close <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Werdouschegg to close hearing Hearing <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes= carried <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Werdouschegg to approve NC-14 <br />based on the additional landscaping that had been provided to <br />reduce the impact of nonconformities and that the large <br />setback of the building also reduced the impact of the <br />nonconformities <br />5 ayes- 0 nayes- carried
