City of New Brighton <br />January 10, 1978 <br />There was further discussion regarding the application. <br />Motion by Werdouschegg, seconded by Blomyuist to <br />close hearing <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried Close <br />Hearing <br />Motion by Werdouschegg,..seconded by Berike to <br />waive reading the resolution and to adopt RESOLUTION <br />MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND GRANTING VARIANCE VN-176 <br />with. the provisions that; <br />1. The building not come closer than 10 `feet to RESOLUTION <br />the .property line; - NO. Ty85 <br />2. 10 foot sideyard setback be used for driveway. <br />access to rear: of .property <br />and. with: the findings of fact, that: <br />1. The .property. to the north had been carved from. this <br />parcel;. <br />2. A transfer of property to increase the setback <br />would create a'negative environmental impact; <br />3. The home to the north is a nonconforming use. <br />5 ayes - O nayes- carried <br />Motion by Weraouschegg, seconded by Janecek to waive reading _: <br />the resolution and adopt RESOLUTION MAKING. FINDINGS OF PACT <br />AND .APP ROVING. NC-25 based on the following, findings of fact <br />that <br />1. Driveways will be reduced to 36 .feet in width; <br />2. The driveway-for. parking in the front yard will <br />be decreased; - RESOLUTION <br />3. The landscaping in the front yard will be NO. 198b <br />increased to 31 ft. from the front property line; <br />4. Concrete curbing will be provided along driveways <br />adjacent to Old Highway 8 <br />such approval to be conditioned on provision of bituminous <br />surfacing`north.of the proposed addition. <br />Motion by Senden to amend to remove the. requirement ~ <br />for bituminous.-surfacing from the motion. <br />Motion died for lack of a second <br />Vote on main .motion <br />S ayes - O naves- carried <br />
