-a-
3. That the variance is necessitated by a creative
design which is not consistent with the stated
purposes of the zoning code.
4. That the proposed sign is in keeping with the
special circumstances of the design and appear-
ance of the applicant's building, both exterior
and interior, and the large front yard of the
property.
5. That granting of the variance under. the condition
listed below does not constitute special privilege
because a different sign of the same size and wording
as that proposed would be allowed under the ordinance.
6. That granting the variance will not result in material
damage or prejudice to other property nor be detrimental±
to the public safety or welfare because the sign is no
greater in size or different in location than signs
generally allowed to similarly situated properties and
is of a high quality of design.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the application for
VN-181 is and hereby approved, subject to the condition that
no other ground signs other than that described in this
application for VN-181 be permitted on the premises at 1155-
Old Highway 8.
Adopted this day of 1978.
James Senden, Mayor
ATTEST:
Gary L.
