<br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON request for a
<br />variance }0 permit placement Of more than one (1)
<br />ground sign on a street side yard.
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the New Brighton
<br />City Council will meet on March 14, 1978, at 7;45 o'clock
<br />p. m. at ;the New Brighton City HaR, New Brighton,
<br />Minnesota to consider:
<br />A request for a variance to permit placement of more
<br />than one (1) ground sign per street side of 100 feet or
<br />more as allowed under Section 14-120(e) of the New
<br />Brighton Zoning Code.
<br />Property Description: All ihatpartof the Southeast ~/.
<br />of Section 20, Township 30, Range 23 West of the Fourth
<br />Principal Meridian, which is North of the center line of
<br />Trunk Highway No. 100, being Route No. 212 as
<br />•described in.Parcel 11 of-the final certificate of the
<br />Attorney General (State of Minnesota by J.A.A. Bur-
<br />nquist, its Attorney General against Ottillia Devine and
<br />Devine E. Everett Hanna), which final certificate was
<br />filed with the Register Of Deeds of Ramsey County,
<br />Minnesota, on Aug. 14, 1950 in "1343" Deeds 395, and
<br />East of the center line of 'Trunk Highway Na. 63
<br />(commonly known as State Highway No. 8), which
<br />center line is described in the deed from Josephus W.
<br />Jandell arld Mary E. Jandell, his wife, to the State of
<br />Minnesota, filed with the Register of Deeds of Ramsey
<br />County, Minnesota, Sept. 28,1926 in "816" Deeds 101 and
<br />South of a line described as follows: Commencing at the
<br />intersection of the center line of Trunk Highway No. 67
<br />and Trunk Highway No. 100; thence Northerly an the
<br />center line of Trunk Highway No. 63, 618.53 feet, which
<br />is the point Of beg(nning; thence Southeasterly at right
<br />angles with the center I ine of said Trunk Highway No. 63
<br />a distance of 1,268 feet, more or less to the East Tine of .
<br />Section 20, Township 30, Range 23. Sub(ed to the rights

<br />the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying
<br />subscribers, has an average of at least 75 percent of its total circulation currently paid or no more than
<br />three months in arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local post-office. (5) Said newspaper
<br />purports to serve the Viltaye of New Brighton in the County of Ramsey and it has its known of/ice.
<br />of issue in the Village of New Brighton in Bald county, established and open during its regular
<br />business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements antl sale of subscriptions and main•
<br />tained by the publisher of said newspaper or persons in his employ and subiect to his direction and
<br />control during all such regular business hours- at which said newspaper is printed. (6) Said news-
<br />paper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has
<br />complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least tyro years preceding the day or dates of publi•
<br />cation, mentioned below. (B) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior
<br />to January 1, 1966, and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary
<br />of State and signed by the publisher and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper fs
