September 21, 1978
APPLICATION FOR MINOR SUBDIVISION R.C.E. CORPORATION
PURPOSE:
To consider subdivision of property in conjuntion with the Crossroads
Family Housing project.
RACKCR(~iiND
APPLICANT: R.C.E. Corporation / Crossroads Development Corporation.
LOCATION: Generally north of County Road E and east of Silver Lake
Road
PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: The City Council has given preliminary approval
and is considering giving final approval for a 64 unit
townhouse project for the property just east of the
Country Club Market.
The current request is to actually subdivide the overall property into the
two lots shown on the attached survey. The eastern parcel will be the
townhouse project property.
Overall, we see no problem with the minor subdivision. The deminsions
are the same. as used in the development plans by Crossroads. We would also
note that the applicant will be furnishing hardshells to acturally create 2
platted lots. Therefore, it is not necessary to approve a resolution, rather _
mayor and clerk will have to sign the plat.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the minor subdivision be approved by motion subject to
the following:
1. That no building permits be issued until the final plat has been
recorded.
' / ~ ~~
es F. Winkels, City Planner
Gary L. Hunt, City Manager
