AND <br />10:00 P.M. DAILY. <br /> <br />In response to Brandt's concern for townhouses, Proper will send <br />letters to appropriate associations regarding the establishment of <br />an odd/even system designed for their complex. <br /> <br />In response to Gunderman's concern for swimming pools, Proper <br />stated they would already have been filled. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Brandt, seconded by Gunderman, to DIRECT STAFF TO CON- <br />TACT MULTIPLE RESIDENTS DWELLING UNITS IN THE NEW BRIGHTON AREA <br />WHERE THE RESOLUTION WOULD NOT NECESSARILY RESULT IN ODD/EVEN DAY <br />WATERING AND ASK THE ASSOCIATIONS TO COME UP WITH A VOLUNTEER <br />PLAN. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />Benke announced the National League of Citiesls policy and educa- <br />tion conference will be in December, and urged those wishing to <br />attend to get their reservations in early. <br /> <br />Benke announced the League of Minnesota Cities is receiving ap- <br />plications for appointments to the Municipal Board (today was the <br />deadline); and, as a result of 1987 legislation, a Greater Min- <br />nesota Corporation is being formed (11 persons will be appointed <br />to make grants for applied research institutes) for which the <br />deadline is June 30, 1987. <br /> <br />Benke announced the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission is hav- <br />ing a breakfast on July 8, 1987, to discuss their budget; and <br />stated the AMM staff monitors the Commission very carefully. <br /> <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Announcements and <br />Updates <br /> <br />NLC December <br />Conference <br /> <br />LMC: Appointments <br />to Municipal <br />Board <br /> <br />MWCC Breakfast <br />
