Page 4 — February 13, 2007 New Brighton Council Minutes <br />Municipal Advisory Commission Reports: <br />Mr. Lotter proposed rescheduling the regularly scheduled Council Meeting for March 13, <br />2007 to March 6, 2007. <br />Councilmember Mary Burg — Parks Recreation, and Environmental Commission <br />Councilmember Burg served as Acting Mayor at two neighborhood meetings, average <br />attendance was approximately 65 residents. <br />Councilmember Ann Hoffman - Economic Development Commission <br />Councilmember Hoffman attending the Economic Development Commission meeting, <br />Tolde Development presented ideas for a parcel of land on the east side of the Northwest <br />Quadrant. Kraus Anderson is expected to present a proposal for the Brighton Village site <br />within the next month. <br />_Councilmember Sharon Doffing - Planning Commission <br />Councilmember Doffing reported a Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for <br />February 20t". <br />Councilmember Gina Bauman - Public Safely Commission <br />Councilmember Bauman reported Public Safety Commission has moved its meeting to <br />Thursday, March lst. Bel Air Elementary performed a patriotic program which she attended <br />along with Mayor Larson and Councilmember Hoffman. <br />Mayor Larson <br />Mayor Larson complimented the Bel Air students on an amazing program. Mayor Larson <br />also shared 2 copies of "Vital Partners" book, where New Brighton's efforts with Poly - <br />partners was featured. Councilmember Burg was acknowledged for her efforts as Acting <br />Mayor, while Mayor Larson was on vacation. It was reported that the legislature is <br />considering the return of administrative fines. A meeting is scheduled with Betty McCollum <br />and other North metro mayors to discuss clean-up issues in the Northwest Quadrant. <br />The New Brighton Stockyard Days float won first place in the St Paul Winter Carnival. <br />Adiournment <br />Motion by Councilmember Hoffman, seconded by Councilmember Doffing to adjourn <br />the meeting. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />Meeting was adjourned at 7:38 P.M. <br />ATTEST: <br />Daniel A.
