-3- <br />Martinson indicated that the parking lot was designed to get the <br />maximum number of parking spaces with the space available. <br />Motion by Schmidt, second by Livingston to recommend approval by <br />adopting a resolution with the following conditions: <br />1. That the proposed parking area have a 6.foot fence <br />on the north and east sides to screen the parking <br />from the public right-of-way; and <br />2. That the parking area be oiled to provide a means of <br />dust control; and <br />3. That the variance is granted until July 1, 1981 and <br />that after that time the parking area will be landscaped <br />as indicated by the approved site plan for LP-68. <br />4. That the two proposed driveways on Cleveland Avenue be <br />removed and replaced with-landscaping and that'the <br />existing driveway be used for access to the proposed <br />short-term parking area. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, motion carried. <br />STAFF.RECOMMENDTION <br />Staff recommends that the Council approve variance application, <br />VN-208 by waiving the reading and adopting the attached resolution <br />with conditions. <br />1 ;tify that I have <br />"e viewed this report and <br />have: <br />n M.
