CONSIDERATION OF PETITIONS FROM RESIDENTS OF FOREST DALE ROAD <br />FOR LAKE CLEAN-UP AND TRAFFIC CONTROL. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Sinda explained the interest has gone down and we will be refinan- <br />cing to take advantage of the lower rate. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Benke, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF 1982 <br />($150,000), THE BONDS OF 1983 ($65,000), AND THE BONDS OF 1984 <br />($300,000). <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Krueger briefly reviewed staff report concerning the re-marketing <br />of the Park Place Multi-Family Housing Revenue Bonds; and indica- <br />ted Deb Strehlow, OIConnor & Hannon, and representatives of <br />Brightondale were present to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Blomquist, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMARKETING OF MULTI-FAMILY <br />HOUSING REVENUE BONDS (BRIGHTONDALE RESIDENCE PROJECT) SERIES 1985 <br />AND APPROVING THE FORM AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF NECESSARY <br />AND RELATED DOCUMENTS. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Proper briefly reviewed the staff report concerning a recycling <br />contractor for New Brighton. On behalf of the League Qf Women <br />Voters, Proper indicated they will be having articles in both the <br />"Focusll and the IIBulletinll on recycling; working on the develop- <br />ment of recycling signs as a reminder to people; and are develop- <br />ing a "block captainll program. <br /> <br />Proper indicated recycling would be the third Monday for homes <br />north of 1-694, and the third Tuesday for homes south of 1-694. <br /> <br />Gunderman asked if any funds were available for in-service or pro- <br />motion among the residents or in the schools; Fridgen indicated <br />Ramsey County has a promotion program. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />In response to Benke's question, Fridgen indicated any problems <br />with litter or lack of pick-ups will be directed to him and he <br />will monitor Super Cycle's response; noting his time will come <br />from the Administration portion of the budget for the project. <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Oswalt Relocation <br />Claim <br />Report 87-141 <br /> <br />Petitions: Forest <br />Dale Road <br />Report 87-142 <br />
