<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO <br />CJ <br /> <br />STATE OF P1INNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAf~1SEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION <br />FOR VARIANCE, VN-214 <br />WHEREAS, An application for a variance entitled UN-214 has <br />been made by J.A. Cadwallader to allow a greater density under <br />a Planned Residential Development with a dedication of park <br />property. <br />4JHEREAS, The procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br />1. That an application for variance, VN-214 was filed vrith <br />the City of New Brighton on March 11, 1980. <br />2. That such application was reviewed by the New Brighton <br />Planning Commission Board of Review on P~larch 18, 19$0. <br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and mailed <br />notices, held a public hearing on June 70, 1980, all <br />person's present at the hearing were given an opportunity <br />to be heard. <br />. 4. That the PRD proposal being considered shows a dedication <br />of 4.85 acres for park land. <br />5. The written comments and analysis of the City staff, .the <br />Planning Commission minutes and recommendations were <br />considered. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Birghton City <br />Council makes the following Findings of Fact in.respect to <br />VN-214. <br />1. That the property is presently zoned R-1, Single Family <br />Residential;- <br />2. That the development site is 4.13 acres. <br />3. That based on the development site under PRD density the <br />maximum allowed number of units would be 22 units; <br />4. That the requested density is compatible with surrounding <br />development; and <br />5. That the proposal is consistent with the intentions of <br />the PRD ordinance in terms of efficient use of the land <br />and the protection of the health and welfare. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the application for variance, <br />UN-214 is and hereby approved subject to the conformance with <br />Council Resolution Number 2303 approving Preliminary Planned <br />Residential Development, PRD X30. <br />Adopted this <br />day of <br />1980. <br />amen W.
