J <br />REPORT OF PRELIMINARY SITE EXPLORATION <br />PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL BUILDIXG 1 <br />NEW BRIGHTON, 1%qN v'ESOTA G <br />--- #120-3932 <br />L <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> This report presents our findings and recommendations pertaining to the <br /> preliminary site exploration and engineering review for the referenced <br /> project. The purpose of this report is to describe the soil conditions <br /> <br /> encountered at this site, to review these conditions, and, based on this <br /> data, to recommend possible foundation designs and construction proce- <br />i <br />dures. <br /> <br /> SITE EXPLOMTIOX PROCEDURES <br /> <br />i Five soil test borings were made on December 4, S and 6, 1978. The <br /> borings were put down at the locations discussed with you, as shokn on <br /> <br />- the attached sketch. The surface elevations were referenced to the top of <br /> -the hydrant where shown, taken as 100.01, an assumed elevation. <br /> <br /> Soil sampling for borings 1 and.2 was performed in accordance with ASTTi: D <br />''_ 1SS6-67.
