Extract of Minutes <br />May 23, 1985 <br />Page 2 <br />Chairman Williams clarified with the applicant that the <br />burnished block would be extended along the north side of <br />the building. Mr. Rasmusson stated that was correct. <br />Chairman Williams clarified that there are four bays for <br />four occupants of the building. <br />Mr. Rasmusson stated that was correct. <br />Commissioner Livingston stated that in the case of con- <br />dominium construction the covenants and declarations are <br />usually required to be submitted as part of the application. <br />Staff stated that she was not aware that this would b,e a <br />condominimiZed project prior to the public hearing. She <br />stated that the covenants and declarations should be sub <br />mitted and reviewed by the City Attorney .and that the <br />proposed site plan should also be incorporated into the <br />covenant and declaration. <br />Commissioner Becker asked if the ground sign would identify <br />the name of the building only. Mr. Rasmusson stated that <br />was correct. Commissioner Sande asked what the name of <br />the building would be. Mr. Rasmusson stated the name of the <br />building would be the Care Building and that the sign would <br />have the address of the site. <br />Chairman Williams asked what the significance of Care was. <br />Mr. Rasmusson stated that is the name of their existing <br />business, Care Air-Conditioning. <br />Commissioner Sande asked if Mr. Rasmusson's business would <br />be occupying the premises. <br />Mr. Rasmusson stated they would be occupying the largest bay <br />in the proposed development. <br />Chairman Williams requested that the letter from Thomas Willmus <br />be entered into the minutes. <br />Motion by Sande, seconded by Baker to RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF <br />LP-179 subject to the following conditions:. <br />i. Approval of VN-242. <br />2. Compliance with site and building plans as <br />signed and dated by the applicant and City Planner, <br />3. Approval of drainage and grading plans from Rice <br />Creek Watershed District and the City Engineer. <br />
