<br />Comprehensive Plan Consistency <br />Midwest Asphalt Corporation <br />Page #2 <br />• <br />PLANNING COMMISSION CONSIDERATION AND RECOMMENDATION <br />EXTRACT FORM MINUTES <br />BOARD OF PLANNING <br />FEBRUARY 5, 1981 <br />Chairman Leverkuhn reviewed the proposal. <br />Dale Heibisen of Hult and Associates was present representing the <br />applicant. <br />Chairman Leverkuhn questioned the applicant's intent to improve the <br />Asphalt Corporation's present operation. He stated that the use <br />would not be a permitted use in a sensitive industrial district. He <br />noted that while he was concerned with expanding upon a non-conforming <br />use, he was also glad to hear of improvements to the site. <br />Staff noted that at the time that building permits would be eon- <br />sidered, the development would have to conform to the sensitive <br />industrial standards. <br />Motion by Knuth, second by Elmquist to recommend a finding that a <br />subdivision of the property in question is consistent with the <br />• Comprehensive Plan. <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br />o n M.
