Need some expertise in these areas. <br />Burdick said the question is, is the value to be gained worth <br />the effort. He thinks it is. <br />Schmidt. thinks that is very important. We have resources within <br />the City. Exercise and use them. <br />Gunderman said we wanted local control until we thought there was <br />no other way to get `the development funds. <br />Johnson said the Council should be polled to see if there is interest <br />in this proposal. <br />Gunderman s~.~d we need to present something to the Council before <br />they make their decision. <br />Johnson feels we have to know if they. are interested. <br />Schmidt said, as one Council member, he would look at both options <br />and weigh alternatives, The $750,000 is the main problem. <br />Gunderman asked Johnson if he was willing to chair the committee. <br />Johnson said no because he was already .over committed but. stated <br />he would work with someone. <br />Burdick stated he will look for a chairperson. <br />Anderson said the new committee should work concurrently with the <br />Long Lake Study Committee. <br />Polzak asked Gunderman if he should call him. <br />Gunderman said yes, he is willing to work but not on the financial <br />end. <br />Gunderman suggested setting up a meeting and go through it, each <br />person in -their particular area can give his expertise. Meeting <br />can be set up for next week... <br />Polzak asked if Anderson-could be used as communication. <br />Anderson agreed. <br />Gunderman suggested a breakfast meeting. <br />Gunderman said we will need a CPA and what other expertise? <br />Polzak said a legal person for leases is needed, someone that <br />knows about the buy=out and somone in real estate <br />Gunderman told Polzak to put together those he knows of. <br />
