Dale Hebeisen of Hult and Associates was also present.
Gunderman stated Walburn had been discussed at the last meeting.
Archer passed around a new plan for review. Archer stated the
differences were t'h~ street 'which now .goes through the old gas station
and the outlot configuration.: Archer expressed concern with integrating
Beisswenger's with this plot. There will be no loading parking, etc.
in the front yard. Alignment is forcing development toward the park.
Parcel #3 has not yet been considered. There are a number of issues
that are stl'1 missing., Because of this, the lateness, change of
street, etc..Archer requested. that this be considered a concept dis-
cussion only.
Gunderman commented that parcels #2 & #3 were being looked at for
secondary access. City is working with Ramsey County for access but
this is one way to get to the park without Ramsey County.
A Board of Review member asked if the funds for the park were just
for Long Lake or .for-both Long Lake and Rush Lake..
Gunderman responded for both.. The battle with Ramsey County is
operation and maintenance. There was a meeting last night trying
to break the log jam. It mould be a tremendous advantage to provide
a second access.
