...,._ } <br /> <br />NEW BRIGHTON PARR AND RECREATION POLICIES ON <br />"CO-SPONSORING" COMMUNITY GROUPS IN SCHOOLS <br />~~ <br />Follow Policy #1330 and Regulation #1330 except for the following <br />revisions: (Reg,#1330 II Definitions A & B & III Fees) <br />II, Definitions <br />A. Community groups/organizations <br />Groups able to show evidence that 75~ of the user group <br />lives or works at an address within the New Brighton City <br />limits and must be requesting space in a New Brighton school. <br />Priority will be given first to-Park and Recreation activities, <br />second to groups which provide opportunities for New Brighton <br />residents in activities the Park and Recreation Department <br />does not offer, third to groups which have had past usage <br />through the Park and Recreation Department. <br />(Situation: When a conflict appears between Croup 3 and <br />a Park and Recreation program expansion - if the expansion <br />enables more New Brighton residents opportunities to partici- <br />pate than what is provided by Group 3, Park and Recreation <br />program will take priority with consideration of Group 3 <br />past usage and provide-the best alternative.) <br />,.- B. Non-resident groups/organizations <br />If a non-resident group (less than 75~k) is requesting space <br />in a New Brighton School., consideration will be given to <br />that group if <br />1) space requested is not in conflict with priority <br />programs <br />2) they can provide the New Brighton Park and Recreation <br />Department with some kind of service in payment of <br />their fee either through purchases of equipment, do- <br />nations, or voluntary involvement in a program area. <br />III. Fees <br />A, Usage Fees <br /> <br />Additional. charges such as custodial. maintenance, kitchen <br />supervision, and equipment fees. will be proportionately <br />charged back to the group or organization. <br />
