Hansen Concept Plan.
Anderson. reviewed the Hansen plans as were presented last year.
The new drawings show the trails somewhat rerouted. Area north
of the softball field was proposed for a soccer field. Anderson
wants the Park Board's feelings on this. The field would be
used for youth soccer.,
Hansen Park area resident Mrs, Eugene Partyka, 1743 Sioux Blvd.,
commented that the area proposed for a soccer field is like a
swamp.
Anderson said the field would only be used when conditions are
favorable. A culvert in the area would help. Drain the is
not necessary. This would be a very informal soccer area.
Anderson said .the. location of the picnic area and free skating
area were the main concerns. He said the proposal should be
sent to the Council in August. Indication from the Council
is that they want it done in 1981.
