Minutes of February 1980 meeting were approved as <br />IV. Correspondence. <br />A. Council Representative Report <br />Council Re- resentative Benke stated the Council the <br />Park Place grading plan that the Park Board Bugg-,c The <br />Rice Creek Watershed District turned down the pro-. -)_-al . <br />The workshop is tentatively scheduled for April lV'.. <br />B. Letter Re: Basic Industries Gift <br />Motion by Dahl, seconded by Olson, to accept Basic Industries <br />gift. Motion passed. <br />• C. Memo - John Grau Statement of Expectations <br />Motion by Dahl, seconded by westling, to accept the memo. <br />Motion passed. <br />D. Memo - John Grau Community Leaders Workshop- <br />Motion by Olson, seconded by Hogan, to accept the memo. <br />Motion passed. <br />E. Report to Ramsey Co. Board of Commissions Re: Long Lake <br />Anderson stated the County requested its staff to put to- <br />gether a report on the regional parks as they affect the <br />County budget. This report is due May lst. The County <br />may make a decision on the entire regional system sometime <br />in May. The Long Lake decision would hopefully come next. <br />The decision could come sometime in June or July. <br />V. New Business <br />A. Joint Powers Agreement Highview Middle School <br />Anderson briefly discussed the joint powers agreement and <br />stated the City was requested to participate in the upgrading <br />of the athletic area. The services the City would be required <br />• to do in the maintenance area are those that our crew has the <br />skills to do. The City will have to cut back on its mainten- <br />ance in order to stay within the budget. Anderson would like <br />to see the school district policy changed so that the City
