Parking lots at south Hansen, Freedom, and <br />Totem Pole are sub-standard and require extensive renovation. <br />This estimate is approximately 500 low. <br />1983 <br />14) LIGHT ATHLETIC FACILITIES $60,000.00/Community Facilities <br />15) DEVELOP CREEKVIEW $35,000.00/Community Facilities <br />The objective of this project is to develop Creekview Park in <br />such a way as to allow people to use the park and enjoy the <br />natural setting without causing the destruction of the park. <br />Anticipated improvements include nature trails, picnic area, <br />nature study areas, bridges, etc. <br />16) 1984 <br />VETERANS BUILDING $70,000.00/Neighborhood Facilities <br />The objective of this project is to construct a permanent <br />shelter building at Veterans Park. The temporary building now <br />in use provides only-shelter; a larger facility with bathrooms <br />and water is needed. <br />17) DEVELOP TRAIL, SOUTH PIKE LAKE $15,000.00/Community Facilities <br />The objective of this project is to provide access to Long Lake <br />Park from the Pike Lake area by constructing a pedestrian/bicycle <br />trail and bridging over the marsh at the south end of Pike Lake. <br />This trail will be needed at about this time to move people from <br />the west shore of Pike Lake to Long Lake Park. The church has <br />indicated a willingness to grant an easement across their property <br />for this purpose. The amount may be low depending on the amount <br />of bridging required. <br />18) 1985 <br />HANDBALL/RACQUETBALL $100,000.00/$500,000.00 (Revenue Bond) <br />Community Facilities <br />The objective of this project is to construct a city-owned and <br />operated .handball/racquetball facility at the golf course <br />
