Anderson, felt the land would. not <br />be good. for tennis courts but suggested perhaps it could <br />be used. as a nature trail or a small playground area. <br />Anderson agreed to look. at the property an~~ contact one <br />of .the representatives.from Innsbruck Bast with any ideas <br />or suggestions. Blomm~~ist suggested contacting the <br />LTniversity of P?tinnesota Landscape Department ar_d per- <br />haps use-this as a project for students. Peterson and <br />Burzyns}ei felt that t~ras a good suggestion. <br />T3. Response to Council/Park 3oard P"eeting <br />Gunderman asked the T`ark ~?oarcl to state .feelings of <br />Council/Par}c Boarc? meeting. <br />Johnsen. stated Council was present but had closed ears. <br />Gunder*nari asked why he felt that and Johnsor_ stated <br />because the CIP teas unchanged> <br />It was then clarified that the CIP pac};et received by <br />each Fark 13oarc mem}per ~.7as not yet approved . Johnson <br />then withdrew his statement. <br />Dahl felt it was positive in .a negative way. Stated <br />it is important to have .follow up meetings. Felt <br />Park Board-should coo a better job of getting background <br />information to the Council. Park Board/Council meeting <br />should be repeated approximately every G months. <br />
